Landing a New Job
I am totally happy right now because I just landed a new job. Ive been out of work for almost six months and I was really starting to get nervous. My savings was running low but now I dont have to worry about that because this job pays really well. The first thing theyre having me do is get some new Network+ training. This company really liked me but they felt I lacked a lot of experience with respect to this system. Ill be doing this about 10 hours a week while I get up to speed.
As soon I got home I told my girlfriend the good news. Throughout this whole time she had been very supportive, which was really great. She dealt with being unemployed late last year, so she knows how difficult it can be. After I told her we decided to go out and celebrate. Over dinner I told her that they liked my CCNP training experience and how that helped me to land the job. After dinner we went dancing and ended up getting home rather late. We had a blast but Ive got to get ready for my first day of work, which doesnt start until next week.
